Anyone used gumtree successfully?

I've got various bits and pieces that are too good for freecycle, but probably not worth anyone paying for postage on eBay (all bulky and around the £30-£40 mark.) Had no luck on mnet, again I think because of only being relevant to locals. Is gumtree my best bet? Can't face a car boot...

Worth a go. I bought a van off gumtree.

We sold a dishwasher and tumble dryer on Gumtree as we were moving house and new kitchen had integrated appliances. Both 5 years old, but in good working order. Both went for around £40 - £50 within 3 days. Definitely worth a try as it's free to advertise.
