If I part-buy and part-rent a home?

will I receive housing benefit on the part I have to rent?

Reading information on sites such as this one it says that you wouldn't be eligible to buy through that kind of scheme if you are in receipt of Housing Benefit. There's a more detailed rundown of types of accommodation here 'Co-ownership schemes' seem excluded from HB but 'rental purchase' seems to be different.
