i bought my dd a new pair of shoes two weeks ago, i collected her from the grandparents last night only to be old she has lost one of the shoes while out on a walk with granday (he was pushing her in the stroller) he looked all over but didnt find it. anyway i was really annoyed as they were expensive. however a friend at work says i can claim off my credit card as i bought them with my tesco credit card. it she correct?? i dont want to ring them and then have them laugh at me!!!!!

It depends on the T&Cs of your credit card. It's not a standard feature like being covered for failure of the retailer is, but some (like the Egg mastercard) cover loss for 90 days after purchase. You have to report the loss to the police normally. It's not common, but you might be lucky - check your card details.
