I feel so stupid, thought I was being cautious and then bang £59.99 taken from my account!! Please dont do what I did....
I have bad credit and a few things under £3000 mounting up Inc childcare fee's, so I searched and found Wentworth and filled in an online form....phoned as instructed and spoke to the single most charming girl!
For security purposes she took my debit card details all fine...went through the normal questions you would expect and wow been accepted would get my loan for £3500 in a matter of days....
So the next step, she will send me the declaration and T&C's sign and return all great. She will send these once I have paid the £59.99 admin fee taken from my debit card.......BELLS ringing
I said I dont have £59.99 thats why I want this loan, oh thats fine dont worry we can defer payment till monday take it then you will get your loan then!!!!
I said well NO dont think I want to proceed, need to talk to my husband ok then bye.....
I searched wentworth and found it was a scam!!!!!
called my bank and asked them to stop payment being taken.
Nearly forgot about it as nothing happened, until almost a month later £59.99 taken!! trying to get it refunded as the guy I spoke to at my bank said they have heard of them and I should have had my card stopped straight away!!!
Please dont ever give your card details at the start of any call and never pay to get a loan!!!!
