I am due to go back to work on the 1st of August after having a yr off maternity leave. I am 11 weeks pregnant now, I know i will not be entitled to SMP as i have not been paid the last 3 months of leave so I am going to leave on the 1st August. How do i know that i will be able to receive Maternity Allowance, I need to know for sure before i leave my work place. I have looked on the Job Centre website and the internet for hours but cant seem to find anything.
