I had a joint claim and it got cancelled and a new joint claim was started. When i give my actual figures for income 2009-2010 they only changed figures on the most recent claim (i didnt no) so today i got a letter saying "final income for 2009-2010" and they have our earings higher than they were soi rang up and she said they'd been changed on new claim but not old one so she requested them to be changed.

Out of curiosity i went on tax credits calculater and if we'd earnt wot they said we'd of got 572 less. I am currently paying an overpayment for £564 for the year 2009-2010 so i'm wondering if they correct there figures they i shouldnt have an over payment as we earnt LESS than what they said.

Wot do u think? or is it just wishful thinking on my behalf? Its rediculas because normally i wouldnt of checked so it would of just got filed away..
