I'm what u call a "credit card tart"!(thanks to the lovely money expert, Martin Lewis off the telly!)
Have just transferred balance from card "no one" to card "no two". However, although balance has not gone from card "no one" yet according to balance check-up, card "no two" is showing the balance that I transferred! Are you following?
I rang up card "no two" who tried to reassure me that everything's in order but I'm panicking as it was rather a large amount.Anyone know anything about this and how it works?

CK - I'm a credit card tart too.... I presume its just a slight delay in the updating the system!

Well I don't think that you can have messed up if the balance is showing up on card 2. Just ring up card 1 and ask them why there is still a balance when you have settled it using card 2!

why don't you ask card no 2 when they paid off card no 1 and then ring card no1 to find out if they have rec'd funds yet and when they will clear balance. check with card 2 that any int charged from card 1 after card 2 took over will be settled by them?

actually, Soapbox, I didn't think of that! I'll do that now.
M2T, credit card "2" said it sounds like it's in the "pipeline" but takes about 3/4 working days to clear properly. Just didn't make sense to me, that's all.
