I was overpaid CTC last year due to moving in with dp

There was an overlap and IR paid overpaid me CTC. When I queried this they said it gets sorted in April. Does anyone know how they go about taking this off me? Is it a lump sum? The amount is over £500. I only get £47 per month now. I put £400 away to help cover this as I suspected they'd overpaid me at the time.

When I had been overpaid, they didn't make me pay them anything, just stopped paying me. Eventually, after I had 'paid back' the amount, they started paying me again.

How funny sparks? They are paying me every month? Think I'd better ring them but you wait eons for them to answer.

They overpaid me once due to 'computer error'. I rang them about it and they said it would get adjusted out on my remaining payments. Which it did but then they overpaid me again the next month!

Like you I put the money aside and then when they worked out the overpayment at the end of the year I simply paid it back in a lump sum from what i'd put aside.
