good financial advice

does anyone know or can recommend a good financial advisor. its not for anything exciting just want to make sure things like our life insurance and private pension is up to date.

or should i go to my bank for this advice.?

My BIL has always looked after us very well and is up your neck of the woods Atkinson Boulton Consulting in Newmarket. He is an IFA and well respected in his industry regularly lecturing at independent meetings. He works on a fee basis not commision.
Your bank can only advise you about their products and they get commision on the products they sell.
