jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 08:11

I've jsut checked my online banking and it is saying that I made 2 withdrawls of £50 each yesterday, when I only took 1.....

Where do i stand? I never get a receipt for my cash withdrawls as i check online daily......

What do i do?!

ring the bank now (first make sure it wasn't DH) and tell them u only withdrew one lot not 2 and they should sort it out for you.

LadyDragonOfSoup · 05/10/2005 08:13

Phone your bank immediately.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 08:13

It wasnt DH - he doesnt have a cash card!

btw, a reciept wouldn't help since you wouldn't have one for the withdrawal you didn't make and if you did make the withdrawal, you woudn't be showing them a receipt.

bloody bank - they are crap - now being told that they cant access the account under my name because im using dh's pin number...... wtf? its a joint account.... it shouldnt matter if its mine or his!

Why does he have a PIN but no card?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 08:24

i meant DH's security pin nubmer for online/telephone banking.

What a TWAT i just spoke to - refused to help - gave me the branch's telephone number so i can phone them when they open at 9.30am...... never had a problem with them before!

I know it's really irritating, but they're actually looking out for your security.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 08:30

But its a joint account?! Didnt even ask address/ Date of birth - nothing..... GRRRRRRRR

what bank r u with?

the telephone abnking shouldn't matter if it's him who set it up or u, same as online banking, unless it's his cash card that took the money out of the bank.

were the withdrawls at the same time for the smae amount?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 11:41

doesnt say what time the withdrawls were - just the same date and same amount.... so angry.... now back from toddlers so about to phone the branch....
