"Easy Credit" Ads Coming Back?

I thought the 2008 credit crunch meant we'd seen the back of all those nasty ads offering easy, no questions asked credit. Have seen some daytime TV over the holidays and been dismayed that they're back with a vengeance. Hope they all go nicely bust.

I have also noticed that credit card companies are again putting up credit limits without them being requested.

They will never learn.

yes its appaling, esp the ones offering 2000+% interest rates

herhonesty - yes, those so-called "payday loans"

Booldy loan sharking, they should not be allowed to advertise. Just as bad for your health as smoking.

I actually find it depressing that 2000%+ loans are even legal. It is madness.

It should be illegal.
