Because I didn't read it properly & it's the first time I did it on-line

Can I fix it? Or do I have to phone them?

I would call them. My experience with the tax office people is that they're often quite helpful if you explain things clearly and politely. I messed up once badly and they actually called me because it looked wrong :)

Is it massively out? and do you do monthly/quarterly returns? If only a minor error there should be space to add it in on next return and straighten up for the year. If a major error I would phone them for advice!

Massively - I missed that box 3(I think) is auto fill so put the whole amount in as a refund Blush

Oops..best give them a call - don't worry, I'm sure they'll forgive you! (Would be nice if they just sent you a big cheque though...!)

If error under 10K then you can ajdust with your next return. Otherwise you will have to disclose now.
