starlover · 09/09/2005 22:09

it isn't enough to get taxed

colditz · 09/09/2005 22:09

you shouldn't get taxed at all on £50 per week.

QueenOfQuotes · 09/09/2005 22:10

ok - thanks.

How much do you have to earn to get taxed then??

And is there a website somewhere that I can use to help me work out how much take home pay would be???

OP posts:
starlover · 09/09/2005 22:12

it's around £320 or something

colditz · 09/09/2005 22:12

per week, it's about £90.

I only jusrt get taxed in my job, I don't get taxed much at all.

mumfor1sttime · 09/09/2005 22:22

I work 16 hours a week and only pay a few pounds tax - cant remember exact amount but I think its under £10 a month. I dont pay National Insurance either, but this is recognised through your child benefit (the Government can see you have dependants).
