endowments

can some one help me .i am settling with my ex husband his 30% of the equity in the house we got divorced in 1994 there was a endowment in place which he has cashed in. i have had a letter today to say the lump sum he recived is not part of the equity .has anyone else had this problem

An endowment is a separate asset to the house so would/should have been listed separately in the consent order. Can you tell us if it is listed?

no its not listed. the order was for 30% of the valuation on the house at present days value and to take payments made by me on the mortgage .
