Sky broadband/TV/phone package - what's the broadband like?

I'm moving into a new home and need to set up my broadband, TV and phone. There's a sky box being left there.

I currently have Virgin broadband, which is unlimited usage on the package I'd choose. The same one with Virgin has a usage limit of 2gb but I have no idea what this actually equates to - whether that is plenty of usage for me or not. I'm generally on the internet for at least 3 hours in the evening, some days even more.

I also have no idea what Sky are like in terms of customer service, support etc. I've discounted BT based on what I've read on here! Any advice?

TIA.

we are with them for sky and broadband - had no problems with broadband, and when had a problem had good customer service from them

I use sky. The customer service isn't too bad but I very rarely need any support. I have the Broadband Everyday, which costs £5/month if you have a tv subscription. It all seems to work fine.

Thank you. I've been having a look around and I think I might pay the extra to have the unlimited broadband.

Would anyone else recommend Sky or are there any tales of "avoid at all costs?".
