Student loans accrued while married...getting divorced?

While married I embarked on a degree and pgce. During my training I took student loans etc these contributed to the household budget/income and in part home improvements . Are these loans considered as joint when divorcing? I live in England...

Sorry Peggy but I don't believe they will be, I would speak to a solicitor PDQ and ask them for advice or Citizens Advice.
Have you started back at work yet? and if so are you already paying back the loan? this may affect who pays.

No the SL is entirely the responsibility of the individual who took it out, your husband will have no liability to repay it.
