hi, i have no idea if this is th right place to post, but i figure someone can at least tell me where to go if there is a better place?!

can anyone decode this?

5.25% of the initial £29.99 (£1.57) + 3% of the initial £30.00 - £99.99 (£2.10) + 2.5% of the initial £100.00 - £199.99 (£2.50) + 2% of the initial £200.00 - £299.99 (£2.00) + 1.5% of the initial £300.00 - £599.99 (£4.50) + 1% of the remaining balance of the final selling price.

??!!!!

if i sell something for £1,500, how much would i actually recive, and how much would be ebay/paypal fees?! thats all i want to know really.im very, very confused! any help much appreciated!

it depends what your start price is...

if you start it at 599.99 (aka £600) and it sells for 1500 you pay £4.50 + 1% of £900, ie £9 so £13.50 in fees.

Not sure what happens if your start price is higher than £599.99 though?

paypal fees are a different matter, need to refer to paypals T&C to see what they charge

its a 'buy it now or best offer'...does that make a difference?!
thanks!
