Is there a delay in payment of tax credits after renewal?

Just wanting to know as my anxiety issues are going crazy right now. My tax credits are due into my bank later this week (I'm paid weekly). Does renewing (there are no changes) delay payment or should I expect them on the same day as usual?

Mine always come through on the same day as usual. If there are no changes to your circumstances then there shouldn't be a delay. Have you had any advice saying if the award is higher or lower?

No nothing yet which is why I was wondering. I checked this morning and it's been paid as usual, but about a tenner more. I should imagine that's about a years worth of underpayments, 20p a week knowing my luck
