I am in process of leaving DH. to rent a house in this area i am looking at about 700pcm this is half of my monthly wage, do you think i would be eligible for housing benefit???? i hope so!

If you have just left a relationship you will have to re-appply for ctc/wtc. The amount of these you get will impact on your hb award. Remember there's council tax benefit aswell.
