Hello everyone and welcome to the new thread for Round Two!

To recap, the basic rules are:
No chicklit
No abuse memoir type stuff
No horror
No hardbacks

Auto/biography is allowed as long as it?s not anything too obscure (or crap, obviously).

Chocolate to the value of about £2 each time.

Here is the list:
artifarti
aristocat
Dysgu
PistachioLemon
TheBuggerofSuburbia
stickylittlefingers
AgentProvocateur
LolaLadyBird
Itsjustafleshwound
pooter
muddleduck
LadyBee
FlyingMonkey
Maria2007
johnworf

johnworf is a new member so be nice!

As before, please email me at artifarti at hotmail dot co dot uk with the initials of your chosen book and author (e.g. ROTN by TH for Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy) so I can check there are no duplicates. I will assume all your name, address and chocolate details remain the same unless you tell me otherwise (johnworf, please send me yours)

Please do this on or before July 10th. Then I will email you all with the name of the new person you are to post the books to (we are reversing, for anyone that hasn't picked that up.)

No-one has indicated that they want to drop out so I am assuming not at the moment.
I have now read all the books so I am thinking about which was my favourite - so many good ones, a difficult choice.

respect - the book came very promptly, i think it must have been Friday. no throttling needed then. and she didn't knick the choclate either. :)

johnworf - sorry I'm late, i'm posting tomorrow.

Dysgu · 07/09/2010 21:03

Arti Huge apologies - I have not sent the book yet. It will hopefully make it to you in the next few days, however, we have been away visiting friends and I left it there Shock so it is coming back to me as we speak! I will then unite it with the chocolate and send it your way as quickly as possible.

Note to self... must try harder!

Dysgu · 07/09/2010 21:07

aristocat double SORRY Blush I will send the book to you and not leap frog over to Arti.

I was just reading about her DS's birthday - trying to sort things for DD's 4th birthday on Friday. We are having her very first party so is all chaos here, especially as I have just gone back to work full-time this week. Hopefully everything will settle down soon...

johnworf · 08/09/2010 11:20

Hello everybody!!!

Sorry I'm running a bit late and my book is going off to maria today.

maria glad you were enjoying the book. It's a very strange genre indeed. I did enjoy it myself though. Smile

chandellina looking forward to my next one from you. Your first was fabby...thanks! Grin

aristocat · 11/09/2010 14:12

dysgu no book yet Sad but i am a fast reader anyway

Dysgu · 12/09/2010 17:16

aristocat HUGE amounts of sorry! I am STILL waiting for the book to arrive back with me as I left it at a friend's place at the very beginning of the month. She says she has posted it this week so it should be here SOON - I already have the envelope addressed and chocolate is ready to go. Will send to you on the same day as it arrives here - hopefully tomorrow!

PistachioLemon thank you for the parcel. It has been quite an exciting week as DD1 turned 4 on Friday so there have been lots of parcels arriving for her. May be obvious but... why were there two books?

Maria2007loveshersleep · 14/09/2010 17:25

At last I managed to send off book today: very sorry for huge delay, but just returned from holiday in Greece. Ladybee, hope you like this month's chocolate!! It's one of my favourites...

Dysgu · 17/09/2010 18:20

Aristocat the book has arrived with me today - so is back in the post, with chocolate, on its way to you! So you should have it tomorrow - if it crosses the water tonight!

Sorry - I will NOT take future books away with me!

aristocat · 17/09/2010 21:01

dysgu no worries Smile will let you know as soon as i get it

PistachioLemon · 19/09/2010 21:48

Dygsu One book was September, one October (I've already read the one for October and I've been so busy recently I thought it would be safest to send it on now rather than later) - sorry I realised that I hadn't written a note to explain but I think I did manage write on each of the envelopes on the inside which is which, although predicatably I may not have written it particularly prominently. I think the October one is the one with a mostly green cover. So sorry for sending them late.

aristocat · 21/09/2010 14:41

dysgu book and chocolate arrived today thank you Smile

shall i put your name in the book PistachioLemon?

PistachioLemon · 21/09/2010 23:47

Yes, please, that would be great. Thanks, Aristocat.

aristocat · 22/09/2010 07:49

Maria2007loveshersleep · 25/09/2010 09:46

aristocat · 28/09/2010 22:16

arti PLs book should arrive soon Smile

artifarti · 29/09/2010 19:52

Hello all, hope everyone's okay. We are just emerging from six weeks of glandular fever (DP) and teething molars (DS), so feeling a bit shell-shocked, blinking into the light etc.

aristocat - book and lovely chocolate received, many thanks.

Respect- will hopefully post yours tomorrow.

Don't forget to update the individual book threads everyone; we're starting to slip off the bottom!

AgentProvocateur · 30/09/2010 15:58

SLF I have your book wrapped, ready to go. Hope you've got lots of spare time this month!

Ladybee have you started a thread for your book? I can't find it. I've not quite finished it, but I've got a library copy so I don't delay posting it to SLF.

stickylittlefingers · 03/10/2010 20:41

AP I have it thanks... just finished the chocolate, will start the book tomorrow. Am looking forward to it!

Arti sounds like you've been having a rough time. Hope everyone's health and teeth improve (and you get some sleep).

Maria2007loveshersleep · 05/10/2010 10:01

Arti really sorry to hear you've had such a rough time! I will send you an email asap to find out more....

Ladybee, I think I'll post the book to you on thurday, I'm finishing it today / tomorrow (fell behind a bit) & I don't want to not finish it since it's very interesting. Really sorry for the delay, but I'll send the packet 1st class so hopefully that'll be ok...

AgentProvocateur · 06/10/2010 17:45

Thanks for sending me Maria's book, Pooter. I'm still finishing off last month's, but will start the new one this weekend.

johnworf · 08/10/2010 21:10

Hi ladies.

maria2007 just to let you know, your book is on it's way if you've not already received it. Sadly, I'd already read it but I can thoroughly recommend it!

Grin
Maria2007loveshersleep · 08/10/2010 21:22

Hi JohnWorf, thanks I've received the book! Many thanks for the chocolate too.

Well actually I've already read this book too... Do you know though whose book choice it is? It's not written in title page.

johnworf · 08/10/2010 22:24

I'm afraid I don't maria2007

Glad you got the book (shame you've read it too!)

Maria2007loveshersleep · 09/10/2010 12:10

OK then I'm in a bit of a situation, wonder if Arti you can help? I've received book from JohnWorf but I don't know who originally sent it? The initials are OD and the author is DN. Wonder if that rings a bell? If so I can make a note of the original sender in the first page.

artifarti · 09/10/2010 18:15

Should be able to work backwards from the list:

RespectTheDoughnut
Chandellina
JohnWorf
Maria2007
LadyBee
pooter
AgentProvocateur
stic kylittlefingers
PistachioLemon
Dysgu
aristocat
artifarti

It's the third one back - so looks like it's RespectTheDoughnut's.
