Yes, I've worked outa few more (I think) but its not spoiling it - still exciting !! If I've worked them out right, I have read 2 of them but am expecting a couple of people to have read mine already too.

One of them I would be interested in re-reading as I didn't like it despite loving all the author's other work.

Looking forward to receiving my first book (Must get through my current book though).

Are we posting the 1st of every month ? Just so I can prioritise between this book and my RL reading group book (which is always first thurs of month).

swissmiss · 01/07/2009 21:13

yes post 1st each moth please!

oh well, messed that up with links, will try later when i'm not trying to bf!

headintheclouds - don't worry

Got another couple of days worth of reading a book I am determined to finish loving!!

simpson · 04/07/2009 09:45

my book arrived today!!

Have not read it and it is right up my street

headintheclouds · 04/07/2009 22:06

Simpson, Im so glad its 'right up your street'-I loved it and now want to read more of the author.
Cathcats book is looking good as well(it wasnt one I'd have picked for myself). I'm really glad I joined our reading group-my other half who is also a voracious reader laughed when I told him about our group and what it involved,-he said 'Theres so much that can go wrong! You might end up with a crap book, you might not keep up etc. etc.-oh he of little faith with his military history and rugby books!!!

simpson · 04/07/2009 22:19

am racing through it on chapter 5

Only started it when kids went to bed this evening too.

Is really good will deffo want to read something else by same author.

Glad I joined this reading group too as it will give me ideas on books I would never have thought of (like this one)

MoominMymbleandMy · 04/07/2009 23:31

Mine arrived this morning, thank you, and I, ahem, finished it this afternoon and enjoyed it very much.

I will think of something to stick on the linked thread when I've caught up on all the things I should have been doing instead.

Headintheclouds, it is our duty to prove your OH is wrong!

headintheclouds · 05/07/2009 00:21

Moomin-what were you reading? a poem?

cathcat · 05/07/2009 00:24

LOL Headintheclouds!

MoominMymbleandMy · 05/07/2009 16:50

Er, no, but it wasn't a very long novel and years and years of having my nose in a book have made me a pretty fast reader.

I was about to put some comments on the linked thread when I realised they were likely to prove a spoiler for everyone else.

So should I confine myself to general comments, or go into more detail and we can just look at the linked threads when we've finished the relevant books?

Wheelybug · 05/07/2009 19:33

Ooh well done Moomin - I haven't opened mine yet - best get on really but trying to finish another one off first. Must knuckle down.

swissmiss · 05/07/2009 20:54

Moomin - I'd say go into as much detail as you want. It's a discussion about a specific book and if anyone doesn't want to read the spoilers they can stay away from that thread. It's one of the reasons I set up a thread per book.

Any thoughts from the rest of you?
