simpson book arrived today thankyou. Must get on and read this months.
I am struggling a bit with this one but just not sure its more because I am so busy and feel under pressure rather than sitting and enjoying it.

My original book was TGWTDT and is quite long, should be a few people down the swap, my second, and replacement to madamy's replacement (IYSWIM) is MC by JW. Does that help?

Have to admit to not having read this months yet, will get round to it tomorrow at races, honest

Caykon, no sign of the replacement yet but the original finally arrived this morning! Shall I send you the other one back so you can return it, when it gets here?

I am really struggling here with JackBauer's first book. Partly not having much time but also I am not making the time as its not gripping me. Only about 60 or so pages in and really want to read it so have ordered myself a copy so I can still send this copy on to the next person !

Can someone tell me if it picks up or if its just me ? I kind of get the feeling if I get a good read at it, I'd get into it IYSWIM...

It does pick up, I found the start really loooong as well and then I got gripped without realising it. You do need to stick at it though.
That's aprt of the reason I liked it as I felt I had to work at it IYSWIM. And I bought his second book full price, that's how much I enjoyed it

Thnaks Jack - I have a nagging feeling its going to get better hence why I don't want to give up on it completely. Will post this copy on as soon as my own one arrives !

I have found swissmiss's book really hard going and afraid Ive given up!sorry swissmiss-dont you hate it when people dont stick with something you've loved-its completely my fault-Ive had so much stress going on lately,its been a horrible,horrible summer( serious family health problems )-ive not really been able to concentrate on a good read!

I will send it on to Simpson and she'll probably get into it and enjoy it!

Cathcat, thanks for your message- I hope things get better too! I wouldnt want to hijack this thread with my troubles,but life has been tough for us over the last 2 months.

HITC - hope things are looking up. We had similar (well maybe not) this time last year too so can sympathise/empathise.

Cathcat - I will aim to post your next book tomorrow (or maybe friday). Hope you get started on it better than me as I haven't finished it but have got my own copy of it now so I can finish it. That'll teach me to leave it too late ....

steamed - Glad at least one book has arrived for you to read.
The one coming from amazon is only a second hand copy, I doubt they would let me return it. If you enjoy the book keep it for yourself, I doubt I will re read it ( I've never been able to read a book twice even ones I love), and it will save you the cost of posting it.
My 2 little ones have been a bit unwell so will be posting your book out today. Well actually it will be 2 books this months and next months as I read that last evening. I might as well post together else I will loose forget about it.

I have to say, I am beginning to get into the book now so am pleased I bought my own copy. Still have a long way to go but its getting quicker.
