Sorry seeker - I received the book you sent and have now put a comment on the thread you started .

Was ill over the weekend and forgot about replying to that one (although I did reply here, but then realised you only knew my RL name, not my MN one).

My book was sent this morning by First Class. Hopefully with you tomorrow.

Have posted my book, first class so it should hopefully arrive at its destination tomorrow .

Have also started a thread on it.

Leoleo - I started both threads - I ballsed it up royally by putting the wrong initials on the first one, so Mamag said I should do a new one with the right initials to save everyone getting the book with the added "this is the right thread, due to Growlyg being a bozo" note.

So the one with the RIGHT initials NLMG is the one to use!!

If we can't get our own thread group how about linking the threads to here so we can find them quicker?

Also how about adding to the thread when we have received the book (so the sending stops worrying)..

Lastly, how about insisting that MamaG ALWAYS send me a fairy cake (or three) with her book every month.... I promise to do a review on them for you all to read

would it be helpful if I posted a list, in order of who is sending to who? I didn't do this originally because I thoguht MNers would wish to remain anonymous to each other, but it occurs to me that if we start a thread with "our book", the first person to reply and say "it was shit" will be the person you sent to!

(am I making sense here?)

If everybody wants me to, I will do a list and then we know who is sending to us and we can nag them!

have posted book (yesterday) well did not post it my SELF but sent deputy, she said it went 2nd class - mildly cross that didn't go 1st class but could arrive today or hopefully tomorrow

and have received my one!

I think we always send the book we got onto the same person that we sent the last one to. If that makes any sense.

And wierdly - like someone else put a bit ago - a friend lent me the same book ages ago and it is on my pile to read! So I will actually read it now!

Can the person who sent me the PC book please start a thread? I really want to say something about it!
