Are you thinking of your books that you might be putting in? I will have a look and post mine within the next few days. - I will try harder than my awful one from last time, that none of you liked.

Ahh, that's annoying.

Good for me to know in advance though that I won't get anything this month - I still have the Shipping News leftover from the last swap so will try and tackle that - it's daunting me at the moment!

Shipping News is a great book - I loved it absolutely, and did not consider it a hard read.

Can I confess that I'm a bit disappointed with the club at the moment? I guess I just thought there would be more discussions etc. I am so busy, and I realise everybody else must also be, but still. Moan finished
But confessing also that I'm finding my current book extremely hard to read, I'm pushing on but not sure I want to finish it. Will post my thoughts on FB soon enough.

I think there are a few reviews missing from the FB page. Each book should have had a review by now and sone should have had two. Fingers crossed they start coming in soon. I have to confess I'm struggling with this months book.

I'm finding this months very slow going - however as of today I think I've got my head around the writing style so just want the dc to go to bed so I can get on with the last third of it.

PA the postie hasn't stuck the book somewhere? Ours put a thin package under the garage door once - discovered it about 2 months later!

I am on my best behaviour and posted last week - I know there is nothing for me this month and will do my best to survive without a book - actually I have others so not a problem.

Stayed up until 1.30am finishing my book last night (it picked up big style at the end!) so will be posting on this afternoon.

Looking forward to starting the new True blood book that has just arrived from amazon (won't take much reading!)

I won't be posting on this month, because I was super fast last month and posted March and April's books at the same time.

And being super conscientious this month (and because today's work is really boring) I've entered into a little bit of chat/debate about my book for this time round.

Not yet, but LB... was going to chase it with the Royal Mail and see if we can buy another one to replace it. Hopefully she will pop along soon and let us know if she has got anywhere with them.

Hello everyone, (MajorP here in case of name change confusion!)

Posted to Makingchanges today, so hopefully if the good old Royal Mail does it's job properly, you should get it tomorrow.

Will come back on in the next few days as have masses to do at the moment. My mum is comiing to stay tomorrow and I have to get the playroom cleared so she has somewhere to sleep. Can't see the carpet at the moment! Aaahhhh - the joys........

I'm very busy, I'll be going to the post office Saturday morning, hopefully the book will arrive quickly, sorry

Thanks (can't remember who posts to me!) I got my parcel this morning - DC all had a pit of a sulk because I'm "always get parcels" and they never do! Does make my month a bit more interesting! Liking the look of this month's book.

I don't mind contributing to a replacement from ebay/amazon if it hasn't turned up - would be a shame to have a month missing.

Hi, I am on the case (ish). I now have a copy of the lost book in my possession, (5ofus had a spare copy) but need to finish this month's book before I can start reading it, but as soon as I do I will forward it and hopefully we can all read the book and post it on as soon as possible until it has caught up to where it should be. - Understand?

Can I PLEASE remind people to post BEFORE the end of the month, or come to shame corner here and explain yourself. If you have not had time to read the book and are not likely to finish it VERY quickly, then we can arrange for you to have it at the end of the swap.
