JJ It's a very 'gentle' book.

I'm ashamed to say I never actually finished it though. The copy I had was bound incorrectly, so half way through all the pages were out of order.

I started thinking I was being thick and not following the story, until I noticed the page numbers were all out of sequence. Then it was too much of a faff to keep on flicking through the book to find the next page.

I should by another copy and finish it.

Where have you been on holiday to?
I'm dreaming of holidays, but won't be going abroad this year - big push to get the new house done. Hopefully the windows will be going in in the next few weeks. We've only be waiting for them since August. Grrrr.

I'm getting confused too Muchwanted. - although it doesn't take much for me! I keep on having to go back to the posting on list on the facebook messages to work out who is who! I have always been PositiveAttitude and other than festive variations, thats what I will stay.

V. boring "holiday" here - am in the UK but actually it's been lovely, catching up with friends and family and doing touristy things.

Can't type on the qwerty keyboard anymore though so will keep this short and catch up next week.

JJ - for some obscure reason the book I posted to you last week arrived back with me today . It was battered and an apology from royal mail. Your address was mangled and so they sent it back to me!!
ANyway, it is trying again and on its second journey to you!!

OK, folks, it does appear that we might have our first lost-in-the-post book! Lovebeing.. posted 10 days ago and I have not received. I wont give up hope totally, maybe it will turn up.

Hope it does turn up. That was one of my favourites! I'm waiting for a lost-in-the-post eBay book to turn up that was ordered 10 days ago too. Perhaps there is a giant pile of lost books in the post office somewhere?

What is the plan if it doesn't arrive? Assume there's a receipt and claim from Royal Mail for a new one?

Also - LBADG could you let me know if my book to you arrived?

No none!!

So I havent got anything to pass on this month.

LBADG is going to chase up Royal Mail and see if they will compensate, and we can get a copy off amazon to throw into the swap and eventually we will all get back on track.

Hope everyone else is and getting ready to post on next week for the start of April.

Please can I remind everyone to post on here when they have posted and when they have received, so that we can keep a close track on any potential problems?

Eagerly awaiting the next book here after having a frustrating month of not daring to start a thick book as I was expecting it to drop through my letter box any day!! {Grrrrr!!} So a month of reading "bitsy" books, which "do my 'ead in!" as my DCs would say!!
