Hi - sorry to put a message up here for you but I noticed something you had written in another post and I wanted to alert you to it - it is probably something you already know but.........

I was reading yesterday about a drug called DES that was given to mothers up until about 1975 there has been a link with miscarriage and fertility problems with the daughters of these women. You said on another thread that your mother had a crap time with pregnancy and was given a drug and I wondered if it was this. It will only be applicable if you are over 35 - worth looking into?

Hiya,

How sad for you mum, what a trauma for her

Maybe check with her again because DES (Diethylstilbestrol) would be applicable to you as you are over 35. It was given to women as an anti miscarriage drug and given your mums history it could have been prescribed.

This is so frustrating isn't it? I wish I knew the answers for us all.....
