AF after MC

I had a MC nearly two weeks ago, and was wondering what is a nornal time scale for AF to return??.
Also can you conceive between MC and AF?
I have heard you are more fertile during this time, and waiting is only for dating purposes, epecially if it was an early loss ( 6 weeks ).
Any advise would be really appreciated...

Time scale for AF returning seems to be very individual. Posts i've read here vary from weeks to months to not being able to identify it as AF cos it's not the same as their usual flow!

Am in the same boat as you and have no idea what to expect (or when which means my handbag is totally stuffed with various sanitary products!)

What I DO know cos I've read it on here AND all the lovely medical profs I've encountered since our loss have reiterated it - you can ovulate therefore conceive between MC and AF.

They (officially) recommend waiting three months to try but my m/w says this is well outdated. After your first AF helps them with dating a pregnancy if you're lucky straight away and I suppose lets you know your body's on track again but if there's no medical reason to hold you back and you feel emotionally that you want to then go for it!

I had my ERPC following my MMC on the 1st April & had my first period after this on May 1st, so exactly a month later. Am now on period number 2 since MC, so mine seem bang on schedule too.
On the hand out I received after my ERPC it said period usually returns between 4 and 6 weeks following surgery. Not sure if it is the same for natural MC.

I had MC at 15wks on 5th May (spontaneous not ERPC) and I think am getting my period today so would be 4wks for me
