ectopic pregnancy

Have been diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy and am on 2nd day after Methotrexate injection. Have been having sciatic type pains down right leg for last month( ectopic in left side tubes )No tummy pains. Have mentioned this pain to all medical staff who have dissmissed it as being sciatic pain but my feeling is that its connected has anyone else had similar experience of this ?

Hi. I had methotrexate for an ectopic back in February. I didn't get any sort of leg pains and haven't heard of it being a symptom or side-effect. But can I suggest you head over to the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust and ask on their forums? They have trained advisers on hand and tons of info. I've found it incredibly helpful.

Hi Diamond. I was treated with methotrexate for my first ectopic. I remember getting a lot of pain down the front of my thigh on about day 4 after having the methotrexate (also started bleeding heavily that day)

I get pains down my leg when I have a heavy period and it felt just like this.
