I just felt I should say a big thank you on this topic and also on "relationships".

About 4 years ago I went through a horrible time. I almost died after a "routine" operation, had a m/c and then found out my dh was having an affair. And then she was pregnant. And we all worked in the same place. Dark times indeed.

It took me a lot of time to finally heal. Mumsnet was a wonderful support. I could vent and fully explain how dreadful I felt without any judgement and received only good advice and true support.

It's almost 4 years on. I took a career break from work after moving to a different area. I travelled the world on my own and became a better, stronger person than I have ever been.

I still get small moments of sadness. I still don't have any children yet. My ex now has two. That still occasionally gets me. However on the plus side, I've never seen him since.

And I have a great life now. Wonderful new friends, new work and a great new bf who has a young child (who I really hope one day will get a half sibling!) who keep me busy.

THANK YOU MUMSNET FOR HELPING DURING THE BAD TIMES

LOVE TO EVERYONE XX :-)
