In all likelihood it's just growing pains but if you are in any pain and worried call nhs direct, they might tell you to go to a&e.

Or you could sleep on it and go to a&e tomorrow morning when you'll be more likely to get a scan.

If it's any consolation my two miscarriages started with back ache and cramping, never any stabbing pain.
