Miscarriage again after MMC

Hi
need some advice.....cooking Sunday dinner and felt wet went to bathroom to find heavy bleeding and clots went straight to A&E and had to sit there for over four hour to be seen when I did get seen they couldn't give me an answer all they said it looks like the start of a miscarriage they said the womb was open abit but there was no fresh blood coming out they wanted to keep me in but I said no came home and so far I have had a few clots and the bleeding seems to be easing off I have had no pain to speak of only at the start but now nothing now I have to wait till tomorrow for a scan to see what has happened. Is this the end have lost my baby again (MMC OCT 09) or is there a chance it may still be there....... I don't know how to feel or what to do....

I don't have any answers but I just wanted to bump your thread up so hopefully someone else will come along.

I know that bleeding and clots can happen and the pregnancy can continue ok, but I also know that it's a really confusing and scary time.

I hope the scan tomorrow is ok, will be thinking of you.

Bella, really sorry you are going through this.

I didn't know how far along you are but there are many reasons for bleeding in pregnancy, for example sub-chronic haemorrages.

However if they said you womb was open a bit, i.e. your cervix was dilated, that sounds like an inevitable rather than a threatened miscarriage, I'm afraid. I'm really sorry.
