Hi hope this is an ok place to put this
had a missed misscarrige discovered at 12.5 weeks - bavby died 8.5 weeks and misscarried natrually the next day 2 weeks ago
my bleeding stopped after 6 days for 2 days then started up with heavy brown discharg again.
filling 3/4 pads a day its not that heavy really but constant and yesterday i was passing a few clots
i was just wondering if i need to see a doctor - im not in pain jus annoyed with it really, the hospital didnt make it clear what would really happen just that bleeding should stop in 2 weeks - they thought id passed everything when they checked what had passed.
anyone? just want to get back to normal

You should go to see your GP. It may be that you have a bit of an infection and might need a 'scrape' to clean your womb. Good luck.

im going to try and get an appointment for tommrrow but have a feeling they wont see it as an emergency and ill have to wait a few days do u know what other signs of an infection are? i dont think i have any strange symtoms that could indicate it apart from the bleeding ?

What does the discharge smell like?
Are you feeling ill in anyway? Have a fever or just achey? Does your practise have a doctor that takes telephone appointments? Maybe ask to speak to that doctor or your regular GP.

If you do get a high fever you need to seek more urgent care like go to A&E.

hi lexy. i had medical management of mc a week gone saterday and have had the same symptoms as you, the bleeding stopped and now this thick brown discharge for 5 days now. i did have other symptons such as slight feverishness and just generaly not feeling right but they dissapeared in one day after passing a large clot, i was told it was just my bodys way of preparing itself to pass this and theese are normal symptoms that could be worse if it were an infection (realy bad cramp or burning sensation in lower abdomen, fever, upset stomach and vomiting, smelly discharge and migrain with strange taste in mouth to name but a few)im still quite crampy and tired all the time but feel like i didnt get taken seriously when i rang hospital, was just told to make an appointment with my G.P and couldnt get an apt for days (appt is tomorro)
im hoping these symptoms are just the bodies way of coping with what has happened and the drop in hormone levels and this may be the same for you. im going to ask the doc to prescribe me antibiotics just incase and hope nothing else has gone wrong. do let us know how you get on at G.P hun.
my thoughts are with you.
