I posted a thread "still bleeding after 4 weeks", took the advice and went back to my consultant today.
Told me that after a dnc this is not unusual? Scanned, still some blood there, prescribed Misoprostol for 5 days to help contract things.
Just read the instruction leaflet, it doesn't recommend using if planning a pregnancy. So confused. Trying to get the emotions ready, shouldn't have to worry about the physical side of things again!
Anyone else had this prescribed post miscarriage, anyone know when you can conceive safely after taking this?
Thanks for your support, seems like the only way you can get answers and feedback.

misoprostol is what they give you for the second half of MM. I had this, I obviously only had one lot, but did have 4 pessaries worth in one go! They did not tell me I needed to wait, just to wait one cycle for dating purposes.

I guess it just says that on the leaflet cause it dilates the cervix, and that would be bad if you were actually TTC/pg right now, but since you are still bleeding I don't think it would apply to you right now.

Of course I say this with no medical know-how...
