Is this AF or MC?

Hi, I had my last period on Feb 28th and had a pos pregnancy test last Thursday and again on Friday morning. Both lines were faint but they were there. I did another test on Saturday (this time with a Clearblue with indicator so I could see how far along I was) and it was negative. I started bleeding on Sunday night which to me was the colour and consistency of my regular period so I did a test on the Monday and this was also negative.

Could this just be AF or is it a MC? I'm in no pain and feel fine just a bit .

Sounds like a MC I'm afraid. Please don't take it to heart...20 years ago you wouldn't even have tested till 40 days after your period was due and you wouldn't even have known iyswim?

Early MCs are not painful, they're just like a very heavy period.

Do I need to see a GP or just let nature take its course?

there shouldn't be any need to see your GP unless you feel unwell at all (and anything unusual to your normal period symptoms - apart from maybe a bit heavier).

However you may want to "register" it as it were - I've had 2 MCs and if I have a 3rd consecutive one you then get investigations.... I know someone on the MC thread who had an early MC in between 2 later ones and as she contacted her GP about it she will now get some testing as a matter of course.

Hopefully of course you won't MC again and it all won't matter if that makes sense. Totally agree with Lutyens... it's the downside of modern early testing. Good luck TTC#2.

Thank you all again for your help. Next time I'll not be getting a fancy new modern test and just stick with the basic ones!

i i had this about 2 week's ago, got about 8 positives on FR and 1 on clear blue digital! but the day my period was due i started to bleed just like a period.

I was told to test again once the bleeding had finished and just use my common sense in between i.e if bleeding is abnormally heavy or any bad pain etc.
