Hi everyone,

I think i'm going through one now.

I had 8 first response tests that were positive, 2 clear blue said it was positive and a clear bluw digital that said "pregnant" but i started light bleeding Friday night and now full blown bleeding (just like a period for me) i started bleeding the actual day i was due my period.

Has anyone else had this or any advice, im really upset and scared as it's the weekend the NHS doctors are no help, i dont know anyone that has been through it and im to scared to google it.

Please help i feel so alone.

xx

I'm really sorry for you, I went through the same thing last month.
My bleeding got heavier/crampy (started when I would have been 3 days late, properly a week after AF due)and lasted a couple of days longer than a normal AF.
I had to wait for the bleeding to stop, then test a week after that. It was negative, so nothing more needed to be done.

Right now, you just need to relax and pamper yourself a bit. Book into see your doctor tomorrow, explain what's happened. You may need a scan if the bleeding doesn't stop, to see if you need any other treatment.

Finally I'm really sorry for your loss, look after yourself. x

That was a bit negative - I just want to add, blood doesn't have to mean the end (although it did for me) as long as you don't have pain/cramps.

Good Luck. x

Thank you, so glad for the advice, i also have been told to take a test once bleeding has stopped :-(

so if bleeding stops all should be ok?

If the bleeding stops, you need to wait and see what the test is a week later. If it's negative it's a complete miscarriage and you can start ttc again after your next AF.
If it's positive, either you are still pregnant, as bleeding in early pregnancy is very common, or you may need a D&C to remove anything that's left.

The wait is hell, ((hugs))

Thank you, the doctor never said anything like that just if i hasnt of tested i would of never known and cause i am only 4 weeks (was) today, and i never missed a period all will be fine.

I think as it's so early your doctor is half right - if you hadn't known you would have just thought it a heavy period. But it's best to know what problems you could have, I found I had to know EVERYTHING, it was the best way to keep some sense of control.

I hope you get some answers soon.

mumsie123 · 21/03/2010 16:07

Thank you, did your bleed "look" like a normal period? and did it last the same time?

So far mine has followed the same period patern, apart from (sorry tmi) it looks a little like a bleed after i had my babies .. my periods are so heavy anyway so i was exspecting alot of blood. just not sure how long it would last for. xx

Also i do have pain and cramps just a bit stronger than a period pain, im 99% sure its all over with which i find easier just to except it than wounder. its the whole waiting of what if's drives mem nuts xx
