Has anybody had Misoprostal while breastfeeding?

I have cancelled my op which was scheduled for tomorrow because they said I can't bf my dd for 2 days after taking misoprostal.

This means I may have to let things run their natural course instead.

I am now very confused and don't know if I've done the right thing or not.

Has anyone been in the same situation?

Firstly so sorry you are having a miscarriage, it is a v confusing time whatever the circumstances. How far into the pregnancy were you?

How old is DD? Could you express beforehand and then 'pump and dump' for the 2 days? Have you asked whether they could give you anything other than misoprostal?

It might be worth posting this on the breast and bottle feeding thread, there are some v experienced ladies on there.

I should have said that dd is 22 months so it's not really about the milk, but about her getting very upset if I refuse to feed her.
