Hi I had a mc at 5 weeks and Af seems to be here 4 weeks later. It seems to be stop start though and now worried it is not AF but something else. Keen to ttc, so any thoughts appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi sorry to hear of your loss, I think I have just had my first Af after mmc and like you unsure if things are right. the first day was just nothing realy then the following day seemed normalish but not very heavy then the following days nothing really at all(nothing what seemed like blood anyway)I normally have sore boobs too with Af but nothing at all. I have been reading on different sites that the first can be anything from normal, light or very heavy so have not really had any clues from that. I know this will not help your concerns but I too would like to know and I hope it helps that there are others as unsure as you. I hope we can get some thoughts on this

I had MC just prior to Christmas. 4w later, had a light, scanty period. 2w later, had another one, more normal. 3w later, another one. I am still waiting for it to settle back into a routine (although not stopped TTC so fingers crossed I won't find out, hey!)

sorry, am a bit pants at remembering to acknowledge the sad bit - sorry for your loss and good luck with TTC. Although you are supposed to wait 3m to reduce the risk of twins, apparently. (even a doctor told me that!)

Thanks for replying ladies.
I just want AF to be here, so we can try and conceive. I was told to wait until after I had a had a period and then it would be okay to try again. So had hoped when I started to spot it would be the start of AF, but it is just sludge (sorry tmi) Just feel frustrated more than anything. I haven't told anyone other than DH and Dr and so have been trawling the net to find answers, but that is not always a good thing is it! Not sure about twins
Good Luck all
