period after erpc help pease

so 42 days later, I get period and it's really really heavy. Am using night time always and changing hourly, even had to get up in night to change.

My normal periods are very average so not used to this and last time I had erpc I got pregnant straight away so didn't have a post op period.

lia my periods were back to normal straight after erpc the 1st time but the second has taken 5-6 months. if you are bleeding that much and you are concerned you need to get medical help.

I was just hanging around this forum thinking the same thing - I got my period last Wednesday, and it is massively more heavy and longer than it has ever been before. TMI alert - before it used to be two days of changing a pad every few hours, and then three days of very light/brown bleeding. Now (and this is my second period post ERPC - first one was actually ok!) it felt like I was miscarrying again!! Lots of heavy bleeding for several days. I started crying on Thursday in my fitness class (reminded me of being a teenager and asking to be excused from PE because I had my period - felt like a complete child about it).

It's actually tailing off for me now, but I just thought I'd mention it as I am assuming this sort of thing can happen - and another lady did mention to me that post ERPC her first period was unusually heavy. I guess, if it doesn't let up, you could see your GP?

Hope it settles down quickly though

actually it stopped as abruptly as it started on saturday night so in fact a bit shorter than usual.

Oh well ttfc again now, here goes
