How long after the bleeding stops does the pain stop?

Bleeding started 27th/28th Jan (overnight), bleeding stopped on Sunday just gone, but my belly is still hurting, not hurting, more like it's bruised, or like I've been thumped in it. There are no signs of infection or anything, and HPT's have already returned to BFN.

I was only 5 weeks, last MC was just over 6 weeks and that was nothing compared to this.

So I guess I'm asking, is it normal to still be sore?

Go and get checked out as soon as possible.

Signs of infection are not always obvious straight away. It could well be normal, but doesn't sound right to me.

I still had aches for a couple of weeks after which the GP said was to be expected. It still plays on my mind a little - is everything back to normal.

I'd already had some antibiotics just in case so I should really relax.

If it's on your mind go and talk to your GP - they should help put your mind at ease or treat you if needed.
