medical management question

Possibly TMi!!

I have just had the second part of my medical management, the pessaries. They gave me a tampon to insert them with. Well I don't know how you are supposed to balance them on the end - I found it very difficult! (And it was one of the tampons with a plastic applicator, not a cardboard one - I hate those!)

First time I tried, somehow the tablets ended up behind the tampon, not in front, lol!! So I pulled it out and tried again, this time they went up but I am worried they didn't go up far enough!

I have taken the tampon out now and just waiting for things to start happening, but I worried I didn't do it right!

Did anyone else have trouble with this or is it just me?

Oh dear, that reminds my of my 12yr old self experimenting with tampons.

I did actually ask about this beforehand (when I had to do the pessary thing for the ERPC) and the nurse said not to worry, that as long as they're somewhere near the cervix they'll start to dissolve and work pretty quickly. So hopefully they'll be somewhere near the right place and will start to work.

(I have to admit, I was just given a pair of gloves rather than a tampon, so, less of an issue if that makes sense. Whoah, that really is TMI...)

Hope this goes as best it can for you, and that you're getting plenty of support.

xxxxxxxx

Hi Goodluckbear, how are you?

Well, there seems to be something happening now. I am bleeding more heavily but I have just seen the majority of the tablets come with it too!

It's a weird thing - hoping for the cramps to come!
