Sorry if too much info.

DH and I have only been trying for our second (DD almost 2) since november. It wasn't easy with DD, so didn't expect it to be a piece of cake this time either, but were prepared.

So, AF came on time in January, but without the usual sore & tender breasts. Didn't dwell too much on it. Af usual lasts between 6-10 days, but this time it just carried on. At 2 weeks I tried making an appointments with the Dr, but I could get one until the following week (last week).

I had done a test day before AF started, as I wasn't feeling sore, but it was negative. I saw the Dr last week, and she did an examination and so on. She reckons as we had been trying, the prolonged bleeding could be a miscarriage. She's basically told me to go back and see her next week if it hasn't stopped by then (it hasn't so far), and she'll take it from there.

I just don't know how to feel at moment. Had I been pg and didn't know? Why is the bleeding carrying on for so long, and when will it stop? Am just worn out at the moment & feeling a bit lost.

Sorry for the long post

Ok, so have now been bleeding since 11/01. Got a BFN on the test I did at the start. So for some reason I did a test at the weekend, got a BFP, and another one this morning. So now GP referring me for a scan at the epu on wednesday.

Can anyone tell me what to expect, or has anyone been in a similar situation.
x

Haven't been through similar, sorry. But thinking how good it will be for you to have a scan, as should surely answer the zillion questions you have about what is going on. Really hope you get some good news.
