I had a miscarriage in December. Pattern was I got what I thought was my period, then started spotting again a week later. Tested and got a positive. Went to Emergency Gynae unit and they took bloods, HCG levels were low and falling. I waited a week and pregnancy test was negative, then I got a period.
Started trying again. Got my period, but again it was lighter and shorter than normal. Then this week I got spotting again, a week later. I've done a test today and it's positive. So I guess I'm most likely miscarrying all over again?
I'm a little bit unsure what to do, except wait and do another test in a week like last time. I can't face going to the emergency gynae again, it just seems pointless as there's nothing they can do. But when it's all over should I go to my GP? Is there anything they can do to see why this is happening?
I've not been TTC for that long, so to be faced with 2 losses in 4 cycles is leaving me more than a bit confused.
