Hi Ladies,

I have been following your thread for a while whilst TTC, and could now do with some friends who know what I'm going through.

I'm 5wk+5 and for the last week have been spotting, with on/off cramping or dull aching 'down there'. Most of the spotting was brown but know is becoming more red, greater in volume with occasional tiny tiny clots. It is also worse when I have BM (TMI - sorry!!)

I had a TV USS last Monday which showed a gestational sac measuring (mGS - am guessing this means mean gestational sac??) 4mm, but no other structures were present ?? too early?? There was also free fluid in the uters ?? implantation bleed - but this would have been too late by my calculations.

Am being re-scanned on Thursday, which is still 3 days away (I have been slowly going mad over Xmas as everyone is celebrating and I feel like I'm melting inside) and am really worried that I'm miscarrying.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?? I would really love to hear from anyone.

I recently miscarried and was in a similar situation, I had a TV USS (Saturday) and the sac could be seen and measured about 5mm. The midwife said I had prob just got my dates wrong and everything was fine, told me to come back in 2 weeks.

But then the bleeding got much worse (Sunday), large clots, intense pain etc and there were no two ways about it.

Has your bleeding got any heavier?

If not then I would be inclined to look on the bright side. I bleed at the start of my 1st PG and everything was fine, DS now 18months.

I'm thinking of you, i'm also going through this at the moment, in fact iam that dizzy it is quite hard to type but cant get a gp's app. You sound the same as me as in bleeding and waiting for app's i have had to wait a week and still waiting. I will be thinking of you thursday x

fingerscrossed, im sorry that you are in limbo like this, however when i was pg the 1st time i was convinced i was 7w when i started bleeding, brown blood and cramps. went to hospital for USS and was told that the sac was measuring 5w. 10d later i scanned and we saw a HB. he is now nearly 5. brown blood is good and IB is v common anywhere between 4-7w. there is no such thing as "usual".

i hope that your scan shows good news, in the meantime relax as much as possible and rest xx

I had lots of bright red bleeding at 4 and a half wks.

couldn't get scanned until the following day I feared the worst and then they saw a heartbeat and was infact 7.3. All going ok.

You are right to cry I spent the entire time from when I thought I'd lost the baby until the scan crying or sleeping. Totally normal.

I was on the Aug thread too.
Just want a out let really ,feel numb.
Just found out at our 3rd scan that our Bean didn't make it. Got a pic 2 weeks ago. It was looking promising.
The Consultant said the heart must have just stopped a few days ago. She said our bean looked perfect.
Nothing, no cramps, bleeding, felt fine.
I was 9+3, sooooooo close.
I'm not really thinking straight and don't actually want to talk to anyone but I think this is helping.
I'm going in on Fri for D&C.
This will be the 6th.
I feel so shit. We really thought this would be the one.

MrsGazebo, I'm sorry. Wish I could say something to make it better but that's not possible. It's just bloody awful.
