The nurse I saw was very keen to check I had a negative pregnancy test following my miscarriage. I'm sure if you are in any doubt it would be worth seeing your GP.

I feel in a similar situation. I miscarried on Oct 16th and I had a negative test about 10 days after the miscarriage. However I have just had a letter from a consultant at the hospital who believes that my products of conception were slightly swollen when they were checked. Therefore, she has called me in for a blood test to check that HCG levels have returned to normal.

I haven't had a period yet. Also I thought I ovulated about 3-4 weeks ago but I haven't 'felt' pregnant so I didn't bother doing a test. Anyhow after the letter I did a home test and I've had 2 positives!

I've no idea if I'm properly pregnant or whether my body is bluffing! Anyway I rang the EPAC today and they've arranged for me to be scanned tomorrow.

The only other thing that I could add is that personally I have tended to have very early symptons with my miscarriages but when I had a baby the symptons started a bit later.

Hi dontdare

I found out that I am 5 weeks pregant at the scan. I have to go back in 2 weeks to check things are progressing OK. I feel very shocked to be honest.

Weird about all your different results. Are you using your early morning wee?

Thanks dontdare. I've got all my fingers crossed as it's such early days.

I have a son who was born in 2007. Before him I had two miscarriages and this is my second pregnancy since he was born.
How about you?
