1st period after mc

Hi,

I suffered a mc a month ago and am now having my first period since then, but i'm finding the period i'm having now is a lot more heavier an really painfull compared to the actual mc so i'm not sure what to think now.

Is the first period supposed to be like this?

I'm waiting on my first period since my mc its nearly 7 weeks.
I've had 6 mc and they were all different as were the first periods afterwards. Some v light and some really heavy. I've had all d&c 's with my mc and the period I have afterwards seems depends on the amount of loss after the mc. If loss light heavy period and the opposite too.
Hot water bottle and painkillers.

Hi Twinny,I too had a m/c about 4 weeks ago and my period has just started and its really heavy but no accompanying pain which is unusual for me.I suppose they're all different anyway but if your worried it might be a good idea to talk to your gp.
