3 miscarriages all at 5 wk

my daughter as suffered 3 miscarraiges all at 5wk an 4 days.i find this strange all at same gestation,as any 1 else suffered like this,she going to see consultant next wk,am just hoping they ave an answer 4 her,it is coming up to due date of 1st 1 at end of month an she is very emontional xx

This did happen to me, but after having pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy really badly. I went on to have 4 miscarriages all just before I was 6 weeks. I was told that it was because my body was rejecting the placenta as soon as it was recognised as it was seen as a threat because of what had happened 1st time round. I was given child dose aspirin to take 3 months before conception and went on to have four healthy pregnancies using aspirin (then adopted another one!).

I hope your DD gets the care she needs and a good consultant. It took us a lot of appointments before they would take us seriously and it was one specific dr who we saw who told us what he thought had been happening. Others didn't seem to want to look into it, or do anything. She could always ask about taking the aspirin as it is widely used in pregnancy now and is a simple solution.

it just a mystery to me why she can't get any further than 5 wk,am wondering if it is anything you've said or if she might ave fibroids or something.i have heard of asprin but some1 said you can't use it till u get to 6 wk,i will let you all know wat happens am just keeping everything crossed x
