Good news after recurrent miscarriage

I wanted to share this story in the hope it helps others.

I have just had my first mc but my MIL (sadly died before I got to meet her) had 6 -they were all late as she knew they were all boys (in the '60s) and one died after birth.

I cannot for the life of me imagine what she went through but what an amazing lady to keep persevering as she did so then had my DP!!!!! He was the 7th boy and a strapping man if I say so myself ;)- her little miracle.

My DP and I have been talking lots since my mc and about his mum but also about how ironic life can be as if she hadn't carried on trying we wouldn't be here talking now. I don't know what I would do without him and am so grateful for her for giving me that chance at happiness and the DS and stepson I already have.

Back then they had so little in the way of medical test/scans so she must have had so little in the way of knowledge to hold onto.

I hope this helps.
