Stupid question: did I have a miscarriage?

Hi all

This is going to sound v. ignorant, so apologies.

Anyway just before I got AF at the end of my last cycle I felt really, really sick and also much more hormonal than I usually do, and when I got AF it was much heavier than usual. No cramps or pain though.

I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now looking back, I'm wondering if I had a very early stage miscarriage.

Is that possible or am I being an idiot?

V. stupid question then. . I know you are not my womb but has anyone had anything like this (sickness, then bleeding, with no cramping) that turned out to be an early miscarriage?

If you'd prefer not to say, I don't mind.

Yes, I think it is possible, and it does sound like it could have been. Hard to know for definite unless you did a pregnancy test though.

Thanks! I did a pg test sometime after but I have forgotten when... perhaps a week? It was negative, obv.
