I have just had a second missed miscarriage and went through the exact same thing with the weak heartbeat then it had grown then nothing! They couldn't tell me why which as most of you know is one of the hardest things to comprehend!! It's been six weeks and just got my period which is sad!! Has anyone ever gone though a private clinic to start investigations? I don't think i could go into another pregnancy without knowing if there is anything wrong with me maybe i'm just hoping it can be something they can fix. Mu husband and i are both resus negative and wondered if maybe this is the reason our babies don't make it. Not sure if i'm just clutching at straws people keep saying you've just been unlucky and you'll be fine next time but i'm doubtful cause that's what everyone said the first time. would love to hear from anyone who's tried any investigations. We have no children and are just desperate for one no amount of drunken nights out or weekends away are helping we just want our family.

So sorry to hear you have been through this. I had 4 mmc and a suspected ectopic/ovarian cyst leading to mc after 6 years of trying (2 yrs fertility treatments). Was told time and again that it was 'just bad luck'.
The NHS generally won't do any chromosome or blood clotting analysis until 3 m/c. They did this for me and dh but found nothing. We went on to have another 2 mc and then decided to go private.

We went to Dr Amin Gorgy's clinic in Wimpole Street, London here and had the 'Chicago tests', which showed I had immune issues that were preventing implantation and the development of the pregnancies. I did a cycle of immune treatments with the London Clinic alongside my NHS ovulation induction treatment (I had a LOVELY NHS consultant who agreed to this, not all would..), and I am now 30 weeks along with twins. Feels like a miracle after 6 years of waiting.

Lots of ladies seem to have had success with just baby aspirin, one a day, so if I were you, I'd try a few cycles of this first. We got furthest (before the immune treatments) - 9 weeks, using baby aspirin alone - for lots of ladies, it is all they need.
