Heavy 2nd period after mmc

Having a heavy 2nd period after mmc which was back in may. The 1st one was heavy which I expected and it went on for more than 5 days which is longer than normal 3days max now got 2nd one and it seems just as heavy and losing clots like before. Previous periods have always been light.

Thinking whether should go see gp or is this normal.
Any advice welcome

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a natural mc in May, 2008, and my experience has been that the mc changed my cycle as well. Unless you have signs of infection (fever, pain, unpleasant odor), or you're filling a pad in an hour or less, you don't need to see the doctor, but it might put your mind at ease.

I had a strange 2nd period after mmc in late April also, somewhat heavy then lots of spotting for another week after. My third cycle was normal again, except opk's haven't given me a straighforward positive.

Not sure, wish it was easy to contact gp with any and all questions w/o seeming like a worrywart. Have heard that pregnancy and mc can really mess with cycles.

I've had 2 very heavy and really quite awful periods since a mmc in late May. A friend has had similar too - so it seems that it is something that can happen.
